When I was in grad school, saving a graphic file as a PDF almost always showed up errors that were somehow otherwise invisible. So you'd go back to Illustrator, fix them, re-PDF, and find new ones. Lather, rinse, repeat. It's shocking how much it changes perception.

And I'm with @constance_chlore - this is human error. For a long time, in the pre-AI era, there was a gas station and store on 99 St with a giant printed banner "CONVINENCE STORE". Any printer who'd let a product go with that obvious a type needs to be fired pronto.
I think the convenience store banner misspelling “convenience” is sometimes intentional - it’s intended to get people to come into the store to “tell them” convenience is misspelled on their banner…

I don’t think that’s the case here. :)

The long term effect is that my ex and I continued to call all convenience stores "convinence stores" and I still sometimes catch myself saying it wrong!
And just to prove once again how much easier it is to miss things on a screen:

Any printer who'd let a product go with that obvious a type needs to be fired pronto.“

:)

AI tools are being trained on comments from social media. What you are seeing is AI doing the review, instead of professionals.
Nonsense:

It’s also worth noting that this is from the photograph, not any of the original files!

In Graphic work employing AI, spelling mistakes are quite common on building signs and other items -- I have seen it on many separate occasions.
The question then would be "are those mistakes the fault of AI or are they the fault of those using it but not using it well?"

If an architect seals a set of drawings without adequately checking the work of the draftsperson, whether that draftsperson is human or AI, the architect is the one who is still responsible for the accuracy and reliability of those drawings.

As ChatGPT itself says (see above): "ChatGPT can make mistakes. Check important info...".

Well, at least "convenience" is spelled correctly here! No typos on — oh for fuck's sake...

^ I get nervous when I try to spell big words and, anyway, based on the product display I think that I had "granola bar" on my mind. Yeh that's it -- I was trying to mash "Garneau" with "Granola"... am I forgiven?

You know how people used to blame computers or software for stupid embarrassing mistakes (some of which were not their fault), well it seems the world is progressing now we blame AI.
