One is in receivership I believe. So what’s happening with ONE Properties as well? Did they transfer their assets to Integro Investments (who has now sold some part of ICE to this Indigenous group)?? Or just Edmonton assets? I see Citizen on Jasper, which was developed by ONE, now says managed by Integro as well on their website.
Which also begs my next question: if we are still to see something proposed soon on the Connect Centre site, who is the developing entity? Katz Group?
That would make sense as Edmonton Tower is no longer being managed by One, it is now Epic. One is in receivership I believe.
As for this site I would have to think any development would be by the new owner as they purchased the air rights.
Maybe not, Dubas & Didama haven't posted here yet.Just the announcement of the sale? This is the news we were all waiting on for two weeks?! Sigh.. Meanwhile, I heard Fairmont just announced they’re planning on building a new DT Calgary hotel.
Yeah, Enoch has been setting a good example so far with the River Cree expansion.Indigenous communities are usually pretty fast and committed to development, so this is actually quite good news.
Them and the Squamish with that waterfront Vancouver project. Curious to see if they’re going to proceed asap here.Yeah, Enoch has been setting a good example so far with the River Cree expansion.
I mean we’ve heard time and time again that institutional investors stay away from investing in Edmonton. So if our solution is to get new and interesting non-local investors who want to take a chance here then why not.Well that was a bit out of left field. Interesting that they are not local too, so they must see some ROI on the asset which is good. Interested to see the plans/timing of the residential tower.
Wish I could like this post 1000 times. Build partnerships and relationships with other parties, stop chasing the money that has never ever wanted to be here.I mean we’ve heard time and time again that institutional investors stay away from investing in Edmonton. I’m bullish on downtown Edmonton so maybe they see something others don’t.
