Nothing about this is acceptable. Really unbelievable that this is even proposed, what will be worse is when some sort of bad 'improved' version of it starts construction. Do not look at the first page of this thread at what could have been. The prospects for this site really went from downtown Toronto to Nisku truckstop.
This design would be unacceptable in the suburbs, much less the downtown of a city the size of Edmonton. Shame

WOW this is unbelievably mediocre..
One thing to note though, the trees in the render are covering up the lower half which is the only part that isn't just a grey box, so it might look slightly better in reality.
Hopefully EDC gets them to add at least some warmer colours though.

Wow, that's a big downgrade. TBH, I wouldn't even mind the downgrade of the scale if the design and especially the materials were better. I mean, they could have taken away the towers and left the podium and it would have been way better.
