This is such a desolate part of downtown that the importance of this development can't be overstated. Hope it comes to fruition.

Are there any renderings?

I've heard that there are a couple of versions proposed, but they are still being finalized and incorporating feedback. I imagine something more final will be announced soon, now that they have submitted the DP.

At this rate we have a very good chance of possibly almost having 2,000 units being constructed at the same time downtown. 696 units is a big number.

I will be very curious to see where downtown population sits at by the end of the decade. On top of these we should still see the Stationlands second tower, Parks 2 and Falcon 2 (I don't remember how many units between them) and there are the 340 or so from the first couple of ICE District Phase two.

All of this is also before the Attainable Housing funding from the CRL.

There are some nice elements here and while I understand the target market is student housing, the tiny windows and lack of balconies makes this look like they re-used plans from a continuing care hospital campus
