  • Eastbound and westbound traffic will share a lane.
  • Flagging staff will be on hand to maintain traffic.
  • While this work takes place, access to/from Stony Plain Road from streets and alleys adjacent to the work will be closed during overnight hours only (9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Saturday).
  • The traffic configuration during these closures will be similar to that shown in the above linked notice (Lane Closures on Stony Plain Road between 129 Street and 132 Street).

Pedestrian access will be maintained; however, detours may be in place. Flagging staff will be on hand to assist pedestrian movements.

This work will occur during overnight hours only and is expected to last two weeks.

Oof. Wish this would be 10 or 11pm. 9pm is still sort of early. Better not be any hockey games…

Drove along the route from MacEwan to 149st today. I don't think I've ever seen that many crews working. Pretty much the full length and people and equipment out. They are really pushing now with the good weather.

It’s interesting to me because marigold seems to have more motivation to finish the project on time or even before schedule than transed ever did. Even though P3’s have far more incentive to be on time

I think the West Valley Line is also a P3, no? It seems Marigold is just a lot more competent.
