Two months since we last checked in on the first phase of ONE Properties and Wheaton Properties' Southpark on Whyte, and the building has now structurally topped off.

The GBL Architects-designed building has reached its maximum height of five storeys and approximately 21 metres. Framing for the exterior cladding is now being constructed on the north elevation.

Located on the southwest corner of Whyte Avenue and 106 Street, the new building will bring 98 units of residential apartments to the busy shopping and entertainment district, along with 15,700 square-feet of retail space.

Future phases of the Southpark on Whyte project are expected to add approximately another 750 residential units and 11,000 square-feet of retail space to the area, including buildings up to 16 stories on 81 Avenue.
