Some more "missing middle"-scaled development is coming soon to Oliver; Artika is a new six-story residential development by Cove Properties, designed by Brian Allsopp Architect.

Construction on the project is well underway, with basement walls and foundations nearly complete. The structure should begin to rise above ground very soon.

Renderings of the project show a fairly basic design consisting of stucco, wood accents and balconies, and what appears to be corrugated steel on the upper levels.

Artika brings 34 new residential units - including 6 ground-level townhouse units - to the dense Oliver neighbourhood, near MacEwan University, downtown, numerous shopping areas, and the future Valley Line West LRT.
