Designed by DIALOG, the project is selling individual residential units to prospective buyers, who will then share in other facilities such as a communal kitchen, dining room, recreation areas, and more.

Located on 88 Avenue near 101 Street, the four-story building will be tucked in behind highrises, but ideally located near many amenities including the river valley, the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market, and shopping and services on Whyte Avenue.

Forum contributor Kaizen captured crews clearing the four houses that occupied the site on October 9, and Urban Green Cohousing held an official groundbreaking ceremony on October 16. According to the Urban Green Cohousing website, the project is currently 65% sold. Construction is set to begin in earnest soon.
