Soon to rise in Windsor Park, near the University of Alberta, WestOak Development's Windsor Terrace will bring 78 units to South Central Edmonton. First, however, crews must complete the ongoing excavation work that remains ahead of construction.

Located at the corner of 87 Ave NW and 118 St NW, the two-volume, 9-storey, project will feature a blend of residential high-rise living, with two floors of street-facing retail. Units will range from one to three bedrooms, with the addition of townhouses and penthouse suites into the mix.

Created by RAW Design, the structure will feature both brick and limestone cladding, with each of the two volumes taking on a majority of either medium (as seen below). Suites will be made open and airy with 10-foot ceilings and over-sized balconies.

Amenities will include an indoor-outdoor kitchen space on the third floor, which will be joined by a fitness centre, and meditation rooms. The ninth floor will host a large well-appointed outdoor terrace, complete with seating, fireplaces, and sweeping views of the adjacent North Saskatchewan River Valley.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
