A month since our last update, and progress at the site of Central Tower at Century Park has been moving along steadily. Glazing and cladding work has continued to make its way up towards the top of the 18-storey high-rise by ProCura Real Estate Services as the Humphreys & Partners Architects- and Manasc Isaac-designed development edges closer to completion.

Located deep into suburban Edmonton towards the southern edge of the city, the Ermineskin-area development is part of a cluster of high-density residential structures that have recently begun to crop up in Century Park. Close to the corner of 109 St NW and 25 Ave NW, Central Tower at Century Park will place residents within easy access to a number of local highways and a large shopping centre.

The 176-unit development will soon be home to upwards of 250 new residents, Century Park as a whole on target to encompass more than 4,000 units upon completion. For those looking to stay close to home, Century Park will be a neighbourhood unto itself, its warren of streets lined with shops, cafes, and other services.

Connected to the city proper via rapid transit, Century Park has become a viable option for those looking for an affordable, attractive option at the city's edge. Packed with local services and designed for modern living, Central Tower at Century Park and its immediate neighbours represent the new face of Edmonton's suburbs.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
