Six months since we last checked in at Central Tower at Century Park, and the 18-storey, residential high-rise by ProCura Real Estates Services has made significant progress. Having topped off back in October, glazing installation at the Humphreys & Partners Architects- and Manasc Isaac-designed development has been moving along swiftly, with glass now climbing more than halfway up the tower.

Developed as a rental tower, the 176-unit high-rise is located in the heart of the new Century Park neighbourhood, itself situated several km south of the core in suburban Ermineskin at 109 St NW and 25 Ave NW. Close to Gateway Blvd, Anthony Henday Dr, and South Edmonton Common, Central Tower at Century Park will place its more than 200 new residents within striking distance of major highways and a large shopping mall.

Century Park will eventually be built out as a neighbourhood in its own right, with more than 4,000 units slated to come online over the next few years. Lined with shops, restaurants, and other entertainment options, and connected to the city centre via Century Park Station, Century Park will be a prime destination for those looking for a mix of urban and suburban living.

Viewed above, Central Tower at Century Park has quickly come into its own, its presence within the new neighbourhood having cemented it as a local fixture. Slated for completion sometime next year, Central Tower at Century Park will be a fine addition to the area.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
