54 years since its founding, and the Edmonton-based Boston Pizza still manages to make an impression upon its home town. The latest chain to open, at the base of Edmonton Tower at the heart of the ICE District, looks to be one of the its best locations yet, the two-floor flagship branch sure to be a hit with the game night crowd.

Self-described as "two floors of deliciousness," the extra large helping of Boston Pizza on order at the ICE District sports a modern, spacious interior, decked out with leather-bound booths, geometric lighting, tiled walls, and plenty of televisions to keep sports fans entertained throughout the pre- and post-game rush.

Photos of the interior available online from the ICE District official Twitter feed highlight the space, its industrial chic vibe made warm with well-placed lighting, and the application of subtle, earthy tones.

Just a stone's throw away from Rogers Place, and the home of the Edmonton Oilers, the equally well-known sports bar and eatery would not be complete without a wall of fame. Featuring a nice balance of sports bar friendly fare, including savoury appetizers, pizza, and plenty of beer on tap, the ICE District's latest culinary addition will be a welcome addition to the area.
