Making its Canadian debut, Lost in Space promises to deliver the Moon (albeit in miniature) to visitors to the Muttart Conservatory in a special exhibit that will run from June 30-September 16, 2018. Known as "Lost in Space," featuring the Museum of the Moon, the travelling exhibit has been orbiting the earth on a worldwide tour, its Edmonton stop just one of two Canadian dates before heading back to Europe.

Featuring a giant 1:500,000 scale model of the Moon, measuring seven metres in diameter, the lunar surface detailed with 120dpi satellite imagery, visitors will be treated to exceptional views of the Moon from all angles. Complemented by the addition "out of this world" plants, space-inspired topiaries, and props, the exhibit will offer a mix of educational material and fun activities and interactive displays.
The conservatory will be open until midnight on July 18-20, for a mix of adult-only and family theme nights, with special musical performances by Tayniss Nixi and Dave Johnston on July 19. Each of these nights will feature Muttart's well-known After Dark tours complete with pop-ups and special bonus events.
