Today's Throwback Thursday feature captures two very different views from the corner of 124 St NW and 102 Ave NW, the former site of the Glenora Bed & Breakfast Inn today the future home of Edgar Developments' The MacLaren.

Viewed above in ate 2015, the 100-year-old structure once known as the Buena Vista Apartments, was demolished to make way for the new, mixed-use, 27-storey apartment block designed by DIALOG.

Once complete, however, The MacLaren will reincorporate a facsimile of the historic facade into the base of the tower, the local streetscape to benefit from the (partial) restoration of the old structure into the new development.
