Once a rather suburban combination of Staples outlet and surface lot, as viewed in the image above from June, 2012, the rise of the Stantec-designed, 27-storey, Edmonton Tower, has come a long way towards the urban revolution now underway in and around the rapidly rising ICE District.

Completed in 2016, Edmonton Tower has since become the new home for 2,200 City of Edmonton Staff, in addition to the sizeable, 60,000 square-foot  Edmonton Service Centre, located on the second floor.
