Two months ago, the KENNEDY-designed Symphony Tower was on its final leg of vertical construction. A return visit to the site shows that the 27-storey curvilinear tower has reached its full height, with glazing continuing to encapsulate the concrete shell.
The Symphony Tower team, led by Allen Wasnea Engineering, announced on social media that crews poured concrete for the uppermost floor on March 1. Since then, a rigid metal frame has been installed atop the building, adding further definition to the roofline. Recent photos portray the newly installed mounting as curtain wall and spandrel panel application moves upwards.
An articulated ground-level is provided via six brick-faced townhomes, mostly hidden under white tarp, and a renovated pair of residential properties. The fourth floor is handed over to amenities, where residents can partake in fitness, social and casual lounging opportunities. A rooftop garden extends the interior recreational spaces to the outdoors.
The 143-unit development features floor plans named after famous composers. From the 617-square-foot Beethoven to the 3,743-square-foot Grand, each residence offers more than enough living space. And another social media post on the official Symphony Tower Instagram page reveals the view north-facing residents can expect to enjoy soon.
