Just as construction on the office portion of Stantec Tower is wrapping up and the residential portion set to rise, Katz Group and ONE Properties celebrated the grand opening of the presentation and sales centre for SKY Residences, the official name of the residential floors of what will be Western Canada's tallest building.
The presentation centre, located at 10210 104 Avenue between Rogers Place and the Grand Villa Casino, offers potential buyers a tour of two showsuites, a scale model emphasizing the height of the tower as well as its amenities, and representatives who are ready to assist buyers with financing options.
All of the 483 units have nine-foot or higher ceilings, and prospective owners get a choice between three sets of designer finishes. Kitchens will have high-end stainless steel appliances, an integrated panel fridge, freezer, and dishwasher, over-the-range microwave with hood fan, and quartz countertops with an undermount sink.
SKY Residences will have its own entrance off 102 Street; residents will have access to 24/7 concierge and security, as well as heated underground parking and secure bicycle storage.
Sitting atop the Stantec Tower offices, the 30th floor will offer over 20,000 square-feet of amenity space including a large outdoor patio with fireplaces, gas barbecues, and a hot tub. Inside, residents will have access to a billiards club, media room, and demonstration kitchen and dining area, as well as a business centre with boardrooms, and a fitness centre.
Units and prices currently range from a 490-square-foot single-bedroom for $313,900, up to a 1,221-square-foot two-bedroom-plus-den for $1,094,900 (subject to change).
Construction of the 251-metre, 66-story tower is expected to be completed in November of 2019.
