University of Alberta Golden Bears Hockey vs Red Deer Polytechnic Kings last night for their first exhibition game of the year. The Bears took it 4-1 along with a fancy new (unnecessary and invasive in my mind) screen. I do love the old barn but those beer lineups are something else.

Absolutely not.

Clare Drake is a gem, perfectly sized, feels great and is part of the campus fabric.

Football SUCKS on South Campus from that and this would be similar.

I'd give up my tickets to be honest with you.

I was riding by Foote Field a couple weeks ago and da Bearsss where playing. What a great little stadium. I wonder if they could build seating on the east side grass berm? Would be great if they could bring the capacity up to 10k or so and the Eddies could play there.

Hit up the Bears/Thunderbirds last night for some good hockey at the Drake.

RATT was busy and thankfully have brought back their legendary fries.

I agree it is great having the arena on main campus. Would like to see a couple small upgrades to the arena like the visitor bench which is painfully small.

The new "Silent Ice" arena in North Nisku - on the Spine Rd. Every time I drive by this place it is ALWAYS packed! Even late at night......
