I wonder if people will throw trash in places where there’s already trash. It must be disheartening to see trash appear in places that were cleaned up two hours earlier.
Um, it's more than 'two little machines'. A whole lot more. And it does have a material impact on the budget. The entire point being, city hall makes it a priority to ensure the bike lanes are clean and it's shameful they don't have the same respect for transit. The 2 little machines that clear less than 30km of bike lanes, often 24-48 hours at the quickest, has no material impact on budget or staffing for anything else. That’s why it’s not relevant.
Hundreds of other city tasks you could point to for resource allocation.
How many machines is it?Um, it's more than 'two little machines'. A whole lot more. And it does have a material impact on the budget. The entire point being, city hall makes it a priority to ensure the bike lanes are clean and it's shameful they don't have the same respect for transit.
The snow clearing for bike lanes is pretty brutal. So I feel like it’s getting as good of attention as our transit station cleaning tbh hahaI think whattheheck is simply trying to say that the city should care about BOTH, not that there's a tradeoff
Nice to hear some good newsCould be soon:
Good….1 down….how many more to go?
