I did some digging, and sadly it won't happen. Apparently it looked good for the project in 2020, but then the pandemic hit. The final nail in the coffin was the discovery of black mold, and structural and mechanical issues. They could not afford to fix all of this so they sold their church and are meeting virtually while looking for a temporary place of worship. In the long term, they hope they hope to build a new church in south Edmonton.
