That picture very clearly illustrates the need for buildings on 106st.
So are they going to leave that little bit of 107st as road or could they turn it into a pedestrian walk?

I think they still want to keep access to the alleys from 107 St. Yes, once the space on 106 Street is filled in the sea of empty lots in the area will be almost gone. It will be quite transformative.

In the planning proposals that I have seen the intent was to keep the street-like scene on 107th remnants as a spot for Food Trucks and the like.

All I can think about when I see photos like this are the people recently who claimed the City couldn't finish projects and that we shouldn't be building so much...

The city is planning a park event from Nov 12-16 with a variety of community groups invited to attend, lead activities, set up booths etc.
