What no surface parking it will never sell. There again who needs it when there is a Tram stop a block, block and a half away.

Westrich is going to town on the 6 floors all over. Instead of one tall building, lots of smaller ones filling up spaces.

Deveraux is quietly adding a thousand units and nobody even mentions them. Five 6-story buildings in Griesbach. Three more in Albany. They're building like mad in Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg.

Glad to see this lot filled in. Really wish the designs were nicer though. These suburban vibes with corny colour strips won’t age well. The westrich projects on uni ave and in garneau just feel cheap compared to some others that are still the cheaper/wood frame styles.

If they made it a bit more like Lotus Park in design, that wouldn't be so bad. Good for density and no surface parking though. I wonder if Westrich is seeing something with car-free/car-lite development demand that others would follow with in the core.

Totally agreed, while it's great to see it filled, the design here leaves a LOT to be desired, especially when compared to projects like Stadium Yards, or to a simpler degree the ones you showed. Hell, even Lotus Park is cut above (though a much smaller cut). Very disappointing design that will still yield positive results. The Edmonton way!

The finish is definitely lackluster. Busy for the sake of busy in a desperate attempt to create interest, like adding dill pickle flavour dust to a rice cake. Sure it has some flavour, but it still sucks.
