Well it looks like PCL will already have to “re-do” the brand new north side of Jasper at 109th street due to all the shenanigans there today with the stolen water truck tearing it all up

I've noticed too. None to be found up and down the entire avenue, not just for the renewed sections. No shortage of space, so not really sure what the rationale is. Ditto for the "Oliverbahn": not very many bike racks, if any, to be found alongside our most well used bike lane...

I'm not a cyclist, but I think 102 Avenue would also be a great location for bike racks.

Really? Coroplast screwed onto metal? That's the solution to these unusable and perpetually ugly 'posting boards' along our Main Street? I have hated these since day 1. The sonotubes along 104st actually work very well, as do/did the green canopy walls. Alas.

When they put those metal stands in place they never worked as you could not staple them (obviously) and so posters were packing taped on which looked awful and fell off at the first sign of rain.

Whoever approved those posting boards for this project should be fired and chased out of town. I'm sure it's the same brain trust who approved of those wretched street lamps at Jasper and 101 St.

This is where you want to spend time. New sidewalks, beautiful landscaping. Feels clean and safe.

The landscaping along that stretch of Jasper Ave looks great! I just hope it's maintained nicely so that it remains that way.
