Edmonton could benefit from much more international immigration. There are tens of thousands of unfilled jobs in Edmonton.
It’s no surprise that many immigrants channeled into Quebec leave as soon as they get a chance to relocate to Toronto or head West.

I knew some people from Romania who immigrated to Quebec base on their proficiency in French as it was a lot quicker than English applications. They stayed one night

Possibly Ukrainian immigration is part of this story since 2021. Edmonton and central Alberta has many ties to this part of the world. Seems to be drawing people here over other places in Alberta and western Canada.

Today's jobs report was very good for Edmonton - another 10,600 jobs added last month alone. - we've had a run of employment growth for multiple months now, playing a bit of catch up from last summer when the stats showed a bit of slack in jobs growth.

Tis quite nice although Edmonton is mentioned a lot because Calgary’s average house price has jumped up quite a bit whereas Edmonton’s looks that much more enticing.
That website looks good though.
