A certain Edmonton construction company is moving their head offices to 40,000 sf. of space at Manulife's Webber Cent. building on 5555 Calgary trail. They will be refacing the whole building.

Well I'm going to say not PCL given they are pretty established at their campus. Chandos has already moved around a couple of time IIRC. Clark or Pagnotta probably?

I have always thought that office building was pretty unique for it's size compared to its location. I love that they are planning on refacing it! But, even though it's nice to see activity all around the city, it would be nice to have some more absorption in the core...

@Platinum107 That buildings been sitting mostly empty for a while. I prefer getting this filled faster than I do some new builds in the core or Sub-Leases which seems to be most of the product in the core.

They are as you drive by you can see their signage everywhere. Also, I believe making these alterations was a agreement to the lease for Clark.

I used to work at Weber Motors once upon a time and always thought it was a unique design to have a car dealership in the podium of an office tower.

Weber Centre Modernization
Detail of the Weber Centre Modernization project includes facade improvements through recladding the exterior of the building and improvements to the parkade. The project is expected to be completed by late 2020. A building permit was issued for the project on January 27, 2020.
