I asked a construction worker on site today. It is a stairwell to access the underground parking.

Stopped on a ride home from the office last week to check out the elevated walkway. It's a nice addition to the property, and a good place for photos of the city. I even managed to grab a peek-a-boo shot of the Hotel Macdonald.

Are those posts with the round discs intended for leaning, sitting, or for holding drinks? I was dismayed to see that some bolts were overtightened which split the wood in places along the walkway, but overall, it's really taking shape and looking nice.

I walked through here yesterday and it really is quite nice. Made me feel like I was in a different city. Didn’t notice any sketch people, but I did see someone taking their dog out. Also noticed a basketball net which is cool. Curious to see what fills the retail
