Bird seems to be making a big push here in Alberta. I've noticed their construction banners on a few projects around town, don't recall seeing them around town prior to say 2015?

I remember them being here but not big. Mainly did infrastructure projects. I am working with them on a big project now. A slightly nicer version of PCL.

Interesting, the site was purchased last year by Gather Co., the same group that owns the Mercer Building and recently purchased the Stovel Block on 97 Street (which they are renovating). They must be building new if the Milla is coming down.

Looked at it yesterday and the enclosed walk ways to the hotels. Definitely prison like. only better beds. Like an Olympic village without the atmosphere.
