Well the developer and architect of this building are both from Calgary. And if you have looked at any of their other projects you'll notice that they all look generally the same.

This feels like an Edmonton trend. Okay buildings / materials ruined by weird asymmetrical designs. If anyone could find Calgary examples I'd be intrigued to see.

Well when the other towers of this development go up and the other residential building kitty corner to that one goes up density will definitely be a whole lot better. Southpark phase 2 would be nIce to see
Yes, although I do have to give kudos to the Southpark developers for putting in a nice little park for people in the area to use while waiting to develop this site, as opposed to some developers (not going to name the names here, but we know a few around town) who would have left it a fenced up garbage strewn old parking lot.

Has anyone heard another on future phases or timing of this and south park’s next buildings?

Funny how you mention it, I don't there is a single person outside of Cidex that has a clue as to what their next move is. Their website has no details on it, doesn't even show their St.Albert work on it.

We do work for Cidex and usually bid all their projects. I haven’t seen anything yet for the other two towers in Strathcona.

The two in St Albert are still going ahead as far as I know, and are a separate project than the one under construction now (they’ll be just to the west and northwest of it).

Oh good! A 16 storey and another 6-8 storey in St.Albert?
