Coronation will be a hub of activity with the Telus World of Science, Velodrome and Coronation Pool. Perhaps Edmonton Transit could have a similar shuttle like they do for Snow Valley or Fort Edmonton/Valley Zoo. The 904 runs up 142 Street every 30 minutes, which includes a stop at the Westmount Transit Centre. To my knowledge, there is no known transit stop at TWOS.

^ ^^ Better yet an aerial tram that picks a route along Groat Road from the Westmount Centre south (intersecting the LRT at Stony Plain Road), landing at the site of the former RAM, crossing the river to Hawrelak Park and then running along 87th Avenue to the U of A and the University Hospital (where it again intersects LRT).

I Really think Rebuilding Coronation Park's Facilities was a Great Idea

The Velodrome Literally looks like a Modern Arena,

With the Pool Renovation and This New Velodrome: All this area needs is a New Football Field for Ross Shep and It will be the Best Sports Park in Edmonton (and Probably Western Canada)

Would be wonderful if, after the velodrome is open, the city redid the rest of the paths in the park. They're nonsensical and often don't connect anything. At the very minimum, a pathway north of TWOS is needed. Paths that take pedestrians from the bus stops on 111 Ave and 142 St into the park and not alongside a high traffic stroad into the TWOS parking lot would be excellent. Add lighting to the pathways while doing this.

I suggest something like this. New paths in orange. Eliminate redundant paths and restore to nature where possible.

Here’s a piece of trivia for you, the pathways are in the shape of a scepter in honour of the queen. At the location of the qe2 planetarium you can see the top of the design and then it continues to the southwest. Parts of the pathway design have been chopped up a bit by the new rec Center and by the science Center,

I imagine that the city would have to be careful with the lighting areas near the observatory (dark skies).

At least the track isn't a cinder track anymore. Plenty of Parking there now as well.
