I can think of a few buildings downtown right now that would probably love to have a call center tenant.
Those jobs matter too, and the world's largest call center would bring a lot of workers downtown, which we need more of

Lots of hiring going on in some big organizations: Stantec, Enbridge, UofA, NAIT, City of Edmonton etc

People are not going to the bank that often now. 90% of my backing is done on line. I only had to go to the bank a couple of time last year to sign papers. I used to know the tellers at my branch, not any more. My accountant and Lawyer have had me sign papers electronically.

Alberta Regional Innovation Networks get another $18.7 million over three years
Alberta is committing another $18.7 million over three years to regional business development networks across the province.

About 40% difference between Edmonton region and Calgary in funding. It adds up.
