The building has been renamed to Capital and the existing building will have mostly paint on the exterior with some minor additions of different materials, while the new building will have fiber reinforced cement panels.

I was hoping for a complete redo like the building on the southwest corner of Jasper Ave. and 109 Street. The developer is playing this very conservatively. I am sure the demand for housing in the Government Precinct will fill the building -- no doubt. Could have been better -- disappointing!

Shoring for the new building underway, the annex of the existing building being demolished.

Guess that pedway is going to have to go.

There is a possibility now, with a residential core for more retail/hospitality at street level -- that, to me, is the most exciting potential for this development.
