Open house for proposed rezoning in Holyrood
January 17, 2018

Residents are invited to an open house about a proposed rezoning in the Holyrood neighbourhood that would permit the development of a 5 storey apartment building, with up to 50 residential units.

Date: Wednesday, January 24, 2018
Time: 6 - 8 p.m.
Location: South East Edmonton Seniors Association, Dining Room, 9350 82 Street NW

The apartment building would include family-oriented units and underground parking. A public sidewalk would be built south of the property providing access to the lane and to the future Holyrood (93 Avenue) LRT stop.

The application is to rezone parcels of land along 83 Street NW, south of 95 Avenue NW, from (RF6) Medium Density Multiple Family Zone to (DC2) Site Specific Development Control Provision.

The open house is an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide feedback to the City and the applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council for a final decision on the rezoning.

Open house was last night. No real surprises from what is already available. Spoke the the owner, really nice, down-to-earth guy who grew up in this area.

Overall good proposal, should be a good fit for the area.

Note the sketches are very preliminary; architect is Stantec (absorbed from former ATb Architecture).

Aww that's sad :( I wish they would start planning to replace the absolutely NASTY townhouses in North Glenora, where I live. literally REGENCY owns them now and they have not moved on it at all!

Hi,
Its to bad this Project is On Hold and the Chances of the Land being Flipped
for Profit Makes a Bad Proposition Really. Don't know much about Regency
but I take it, They are not Really a Good Company etc. Good Luck at Finding a Better Business to Deal With, Passing Thoughts. Perhaps You Can Check
With the BBB to See what Your Dealing With a Registry Office etc.
Tnx, Operater
