I used to work kitty-corner to this lot years ago. Nice to see all the new activity. Definitely great "missing middle" opportunity, townhouse\retail at street.
 
124th street and environs (especially Stony Plain road intersect) is ripe for all manner of development.
 
I walked through many units last year and they were fun but really I struggled with the functionality. and they always seem so flashy in areas where flashy-ness is restricted in most developments. It'll be interesting to see what they propose but consider me a skeptic. Would have loved to see anyone else pick up this lot
 
@westcoastjos Aside from maybe that first one and the colours of the third, none of those look that bad to me. In any case, I imagine they would want an outside architect that has more high-rise experience to design whatever ends up here.
