Alberta Politics

The fact he is a deeply unserious man - amongst others like him - should be a widespread serious concern.
Yes, he is not the only one, but he keeps hanging around the UCP like a bad odour. He should have gotten the hint when Notley beat him, or if not then, when Kenney beat him. He seems to be living in the past.

It's not enough. Considering 2.5%-3% population increases annually in Alberta over the next couple years and the already oversized classrooms, it's not enough teachers/TA's. More schools need to be built too to accommodate Alberta's continued growth.

Solidarity with the teachers!

Yup.

And the plan is to hire scabs to replace the locked out teachers...51,000 scabs who need security checks and vulnerable person checks to go into the classroom.

Or knowing her, she may forgo that and just let anyone and everyone into classrooms to teach.
Have a source on this? Or is it speculation

My wife is a teacher...got an email from the ATA about them hiring scabs.
That would certainly do it. I hope people remember this, CorruptCare, our nation-lagging minimum wage, and constant overreach in municipal affairs when the next election rolls around.

I do wish we had a serious third option that wasn't NDP/UCP.

If/when an NDP government is elected, they will have a much better, accomplished group than they did the first time around in 2015 where many elected MLAs were inexperienced and not ready or expecting to form government and lead ministries.
