106st-107st streetscaping

On 107 ave between 124 st to 109 st they have added eight new traffic lights since 2015.

Some were definitely needed but hard to argue the rest weren't a bit excessive.... anyway back to 106/107 st streetscaping
One that irks me a lot is 83 Ave and 109 Street, which is one block away from a major intersection with lights. It often seems to turn red just as the light on 82 Ave turns green, so you can only go one block north before being stopped.

It would have been better to put the light at least two blocks away or more or have some coordination of these lights. I do think more people are ignoring red lights and having them in too many places does not help.

^thats the 83 Ave bike lane. I like it. What I hate more is vehicles going north on 109 St blocking 82nd Ave so they can be 15 seconds ahead. Wish a traffic cop would be there between 7 and 9. Would pay there wage for a week every day with blocking intersection infractions.

I don't go there between 7 and 9, but not surprised that it becomes a mess at such busy time for exactly the reason I mentioned. I don't have a problem with the bike lane, but at least have these two lights well coordinated.
