I don’t know, looking at the Ice District I find it pretty hard to complain about what Katz Group has been willing to do. There are many others I would put atop the hit list over Katz at least.
Absolutely nothing going on. I walk through it at least once a week and there are tables/ chairs setup that usually are used by a handful of people and a ping pong table but it's still a weirdly half finished space with no signs of imminent work.
On this topic, The Mayfair seems to have stopped turning their LEDs on from what I've noticed. Does anyone know why? Was it complaints from the residents?
I really think the Icehouse needs to just survive the next few years for the Stationlands and (hopefully) Baccarat sites to finish as that injects some much needed density in very close proximity to them without a large abundance of other options nearby. Right now I think they are being hurt by...
Honestly this is pretty good marketing. I'm debating buying a ticket. Early season games are usually nice weather at the very least and if you get multiple games out of it awesome and if you see a win, even better.
The most expensive tickets for 6 together on Ticketmaster are $340 for that game. Can get some for $110 cheapest. Pair of seats together is only $80. Not too sure where you are looking
From what I remember back in like 2018, that was essentially what their plan was when proposing the Freeway option. Have the areas where intersections were close together setup like the Whitemud between 170st and 178 st. But time and money are the reasons they went this Expressway option...
This area was clearly designed with the plan to create underpasses at these intersections for a true freeway connection. I honestly feel like this whole "expansion" is a massive waste of money and is such a half-assed fix that will have a minimal improvement on congestion. The Yellowhead is a...
DOSC will have no issue at all. One of the few places in summer that consistently had the patio full on Saturday and Sunday mornings for all the "Sober Cats" if you will.
There is also Weekly Salon in the Mercer Building just down the street. Though that is a lot pricier than your standard barber shop.
Living on 104th, I can really get behind a meat shop or bakery but anything at this point would be nice. Currently that block is just a deadzone separating the...
I can certainly say that if I was travelling to Calgary from Edmonton in the dead of winter I would love for there to be HSR option. Imagine not having to worry about the extreme weather events/ accidents that seem to happen weekly along the QEII. Living in the type of climate we do for 6 months...
I feel like the height of the podium was more based off of the surrounding buildings and keeping it consistent with those instead of focusing on proportionate with the tower. The Pearl podium and the small strip mall to the west are all similar heights to this podium. My best guess as to the...
