According to the shopbdc instagram account, redevelopment plans are on hold.

    Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

You missed the part where I said so I can walk to the lrt station easier after hours? Roads have more than one purpose.

    Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

It’s in their redevelopment plan, so assuming it goes ahead, it’s going to happen at some point. And yes, I want them to do that. Tenants can be relocated.

    Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

I wish the first thing they would do is take a bulldozer through the middle of the mall to open up 84 Ave. Selfish reasons, but would make walking to the lrt much easier after hours.

    Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

On one hand, it’s good if they are still planning things out in Morguards behalf, but on the other, they haven’t submitted anything to the city that anyone has posted nor began subdivision. @Avenuer anything on your end you’ve seen or heard?

    ICE Tower

Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you all need to join in. I've cleaned up the comments. Continue to pile on and you will be banned for a couple weeks to touch some grass or I guess now snow.

    Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

I'm going to guess there was another accident with a train this morning since it took an extra 30 minutes to get downtown from Bonnie Doon. The entire line grinds to a halt. Edit: it appears there was a signalling outage.

    Capital Line LRT

Let's focus on the line's future instead of arguing about history and semantics, shall we? I tried to clean up this thread as best I could, but it probably needs more later when I have time. For those who submitted reports, thank you - if anyone sees anything else, do submit a report. We aren't...

    Southgate Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Ivanhoé Cambridge

I will lock this thread as it was about the renovations to the mall, not ongoing real estate updates in the mall. Those conversations can occur in the Southgate mall thread in the Real Estate sub-forum. Will move posts over there as well.

    Bonnie Doon Mall Redevelopment | ?m | ?s

The issue with Bonnie Doon is that it doesn't really activate the neighbourhood. It is only open during the daytime and closes early. As someone who lives a block away from the mall, I hope they start on some development efforts sooner rather than later. I haven't seen anyone quantify numbers...

    East Junction | 86m | 25s | Regency Developments | DER + Associates

Are you not being facetious yourself? 🙃 There are plenty of reasons why this Regency project and others are criticized and the criticism is fair if you ask me. The BMO site, the Emerald site, this site. Lazy design relative to other developments in Edmonton and they don't seem to care about...

    East Junction | 86m | 25s | Regency Developments | DER + Associates

I mean, the rest of the site is still a half a hole in the ground with construction garbage strewn all over, with plastic capped rebar that hasn't moved in a year and a half, but sure, tell everyone they complain too much about a building that is barely better than the one across the street.

    South Edmonton Hospital & Health Campus | ?m | ?s | Province of Alberta

Inside in the premiers office or a cabinet ministers office is different than inside knowledge in Alberta Infrastructure short of maybe a Deputy ministers office. There are still a lot of issues with the site itself that won't be solved overnight.
