They have the LED TRAIN sign lit up at any right turn crossing a track. I wonder if they should put them at left turns (like the light at a left turn next to a crossing.
When vehicles have the option of Fort Road or 50 Street to access the Yellowhead or points on the other side of the road, I don’t think there’s much of an inconvenience. Fort Road has been expanded under the CN bridge.
Also, I’m guessing that the new Stollery will need a lot of utilities. Probably its own power plant, water, sewage, oxygen and other medical needs. If this serves as an anchor for South Campus, other development might complement it.
I’m guessing that most of the catenary/ductwork is done (Lewis Farms-156 Street Station, 142 Street-Groat Road, 120 Street-107 Street Station).
Station construction will probably continue at Misericordia and WEM stations in 2026, and track construction and catenary construction will progress...
