Fun fact, a very long time ago, the plan was to run LRT up the (now parkland) ROW east of 119 Street.

I have a feeling there's a real good chance that any rehabilitation will be geared towards only the necessary repairs to give it X years of additional service life. I can't see any additional aspirational (e.g. high line type of stuff or sidewalk widening) happening at this point.

Detour for NB is right there (turn right instead of going straight) and James Mac can take the extra capacity. Then you don't have the bottleneck of two lanes trying to squeeze down into one on both sides
