    They did. I believe they even installed the services to the pad site and then the deal died. It was before Covid, like 2019 or so. I also believe The Keg was close to a deal in Manulife Place prior to Covid.

    TBH, I don't think their location was the best. He likely would have found better success with 'prime' frontage on Whyte or somewhere on 124 Street. WEM's impact, WTF does that even mean? A 'mega' mall like most other large cities have. I don't buy that argument anymore.
