Could this be one of Westrich's "Grandin City" towers?

It looks a lot like "The Hat" in Calgary, unfortunately tower B is much taller, so more people would see its ugliness. (photo is not mine, photo taken by "1875" on skyrise Calgary)

(Don't know if anybody has mentioned it but...) Supposedly Cidex owns the Mirama building (9419 Jasper Ave) and plan on demolishing it over the next while.

I suspect they must be delaying the start of construction, because if Calgary can build 20km's of LRT in six years (with a large tunnel) i'm sure we can do better then 7-8 years of construction.

Well thats disappointing, I wonder what happened to the 2025 completion estimate.

Since they are all fairly long term developments, it is hard to tell. Century park should be done by 2030, Bonnie Doon by 2047, and Blatchford in the 2040's.
