Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

I still think Restoration Hardware would succeed in the old Holts space, with their signature cafe taking up the rooftop. It would create great street presence and bring back a major anchor for city centre. This is just me dreaming; but having an Apple Store downtown facing the street would...

    Windsor Park 118 Street DC2 - 6 storeys

Very underwhelming design for the area.

    Scotia Place Reclad | 113.08m | 28s | Kasian

I can’t wait to see those red pavers (that so much of our downtown is plagued with) get replaced, and don’t try to change my mind. Somebody on council must not want to let go of a red paver contract because the city likes to shove them wherever possible. I will say that they did it tastefully...

    Downtown

This building seems so out of place around the grounds, I wouldn’t mind seeing it go.

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

Does anyone know why the city insists on using red brick pavers every chance they get? Is it more economically viable? Because it sure as hell isn’t aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

    Low Level Bridge

I understand the need and support for historical designations (I would have loved to still see the Tegler, old court house, and old library still standing) but the High Level is an eyesore at best. Historical designation or not, it is not functioning nor supporting the population the way it...

    Peak Tower | 99.06m | 23s | Lighthouse HM | Davignon Martin

I understand why the building has no balconies, but to not replace some windows with ones that open? That’s just wild. No thanks.

The Mercury Block II | Hodgson Schilf Evans

I was very disappointed with the suites. No kitchen island, windows are oddly placed (they cut off at the shoulder), and overall poor quality for the price they’re asking. Hoping they put more effort into Mercury II. The amenities, however, are fantastic.

    Union Bank Hotel

I hope Frank Architecture is still in charge of designing the rooms, and hopefully the restaurant too. They have done such incredible work all over the province.

    Centre Polonia | ?m | 3s

Screenshot from their insta story. Preview of what’s to come? I’m beyond excited for this.

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

It would be nice to see Restoration Hardware leave Southgate and move into the former Holts. It could become the right anchor that this area desperately needs. RH operating under mall hours seems counterintuitive to their image and brand. Centrally located neighborhoods would benefit from RH...
