Couldn’t remember if there was a thread for this specific project or not, but it appears substantially complete and overall a great reno to an older asset. Looks best at night when lit up.

    Misc. Transportation Projects

Oh yea it's doable, there's already a pretty much fully cleared ROW for the NOVA gas pipeline that runs from Ft Mac to Wabasca, so it's certainly possible to cut through the bush and muskegg. But regardless it's a ~250 km route on a dead shot from Fort Mac to Red Earth, so the cost to run a 2...

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

Depends on the location. Private property is obviously private ownership responsibility to clean up. In @TAS photos, I believe those are City maintained shrub beds, so the City would be responsible for cleaning up litter within. However, it's certainly appreciated when private property owners...

It would be indeed. They provide good, fast and fair service. Makes sense since they're always pretty busy. Overall, going from slingin' tires to real estate development is a pretty big change in direction. I wonder if they're simply trying to maximize the site value before cashing out. Get...

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

^ Gotta think that's meth. Not sure what else makes you want to unbolt metal bollards from the ground, Looks like the tamper proof nut saved that one in the foreground, at least.

    Roxy Theatre Rebuild | ?m | 2s | Theatre Network | Group2

My guess: Roxy is suing the contractor Chandos, Chandos is suing the consultant Group2, neighboring property owner is suing everyone, and nobody is winning aside from the lawyers.

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

Also for consideration: you never really know who lurks here. You can guarantee at least a few news media people browse through here every once in awhile looking for story ideas. They used to do it on C2E often. One time I made a thread there about a City retaining wall project taking...

    Stables at Mayfair | ?m | 34s | ProCura Real Estate | Manasc Isaac

Interesting. I think F & F Holdings own that Central Tire on 109, who a few weeks ago finally had the gas station tanks taken out of the ground. Might be one to keep an eye on.

Probably the right decision. LETS GO OILERS!

Not open yet, I believe @Greenspace mentioned it's a pizza place from Spruce Grove(?) that is opening a new location in the CRU next to Black Pearl in Icon I. Only thing is they've been working on the TI for the space pretty consistently for no joke well over six months now.

Awesome. Can't believe this place started their TI months after the incoming pizza place across the alley next to Black Pearl, yet they're already soft opening while the pizza spot is still U/C.

    Edmonton Oilers

I still have a lot of faith in the Oil. The series has been really fairly close in a lot of ways. All three games could have easily gone in either direction. Much as I hate to admit it since I can't stand watching the Oil lose in the playoffs it has been pretty entertaining hockey. Don't know...

    Misc. Parks and Greenspace Projects

I'm going to agree with @thommyjo here. Mary Burlie park needs regular, consistent maintenance applied, NOT a renewal, otherwise it's all money for nothing. Give the gazebo some new paint and put some new stain the benches, pressure wash the concrete, and then get City crews out there regularly...

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

Exciting. Not to be dramatic but I genuinely think this will make a major impact in activating Jasper Ave along west Wihkwentowin and it cannot come fast enough.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Tbh with how **** it was getting dropped off/picked up at the end of the parkade during the winter in Q1, I get why some might have just opted to go to Calgary lol

    Edmonton and the Hydrogen Economy

"But Dow won't be the only user of the new natural gas pipeline, Stensby said. He said Canadian Utilities has identified more than $20 billion of proposed industrial expansion projects and emissions-reduction projects by its customers in Alberta." Awesome news

Did they give any approximations on Henrique if we'll see him play at all for the rest of the series? Coach clearly has a lot of trust in Janmark, be interesting to see how it works out. Not a bad player, great defensively, but zero offence for top line
