I have been on on this flight a number of times with the lie-flats its a great option v Westjet's 'business class'. I hope AC continues to show Edmonton some love going forward.

fair enough - it still seems like it would be a good way to get to a number of places but I guess lots of Asia flights go through Vancouver now as well so that's why we would connect there.

Surprised they got rid Palm Springs, not SFO. If they could get Palm Springs 3X and Cabo 2X that would be a pretty good set up for Edmonton from Flair.

No I meant why Edmontonians are not using LAX as a connector airport . Seems like it would be a perfect one for lots of Asia, Western United States, South & Central America and Hawaii.

Why is Alaska cheaper than United? Is it just because of ridership to Den/SLC or is it considered a lower cost carrier than United/Delta?
