I’m not sure what you mean by weak, I think it’s a fair point. I could be wrong, but I thought this thread was about updates related to a renovation and not whether a Booster Juice was potentially opening or closing.

It could be worse. We could be talking about a dead mall with just 1 or 2 tenants remaining (looking at you, Westmount Shopping Centre).

I take it back, your defensiveness suggests it’s very exciting for you to hear about a Booster Juice opening. I respect this thread is no longer about an actual renovation. My bad, I shall disengage. Before I go though , did you hear a new Dollar Tree is opening in Kingsway?

FWIW I also try to keep track of the openings and closings at Kingsway, WEM, Southgate, Londonderry and Bonnie Doon.

The thing is though if we were to only talk about renovations and construction updates of this mall or other projects then probably half of the threads on this site would just stop. The addition or departure of retail stores or other entities in a shopping mall can have a potential significance impact on the progress or demise of a shopping mall. In the case of this mall I don't think there are any concrete plans for any renovations additions or demolitions as far as I can remember anytime soon so should we just not talk about it?

I mean if you are asking me, I would say yes you should not engage in discussion not related to the title of the thread. Doing so allows for too much deviation, which can be disappointing if you really are interested in potential updates. If doing so results in a dead thread, then so be it. That being said, as someone already comedically pointed out, some people are genuinely interested in mundane updates such as a store opening, so who am I to say otherwise.

Looking back in the history of this thread, one of the earlier posts #12 was about a new Shoppers Drug Mart on the east side, so it has consistently been about both stores coming and going, as well as major structural changes.
Likewise, Zara closing in Southgate, Winners opening there and various new stores coming or going in other malls have been mentioned in the respective forums for them. It is useful to know what is coming and going.
