BRING BACK BIG BOX DOWNTOWN STAPLES
IMG_7842.jpeg

I worked in Sutton place hotel as a valet many many years ago. There was an NHL player who drove a hummer that didn’t fit in our underground parking, so I’d have to drive it to this Staples lot and park there. He never tipped me once the week he stayed there lol. Can’t remember who it was though…must not have been anyone memorable.

Any plans to work with the City to improve the adjacent sidewalk? 102 ave sidewalk along this site is particularly beat

I'd wait until the Valley Line West LRT is completed.

So, how's the Lotus Park construction coming along?

Well, opening a hardware store is a poor understanding of the area/downtown market imo.
People who live in all the nearby condo's never renovate or ever have to repair anything? Wow, those must all be very well constructed buildings, even the older ones.

You don't need a huge big box store with a huge parking lot to sell most general small office supplies. Half of what they carry is non office related crap.

There was a store in a regular CRU in City Centre not that ago for those who remember and that was what I was referring to, not this.

Yes it was a joke :)

I'd say I've spent 12-15000 dollars in the past 3 years in Westmount Home Depot doing tenant related repairs. It's anecdotal but I think there's a case for one.
