I like the tone of this design, especially in a suburban setting. On the flip side, the overdone Piet Mondrian-inspired, odd-colored, non-functioning plant-ons have run their course and it is time to never see them repeated, especially in an urban setting.

Once the 49 West project behind the McDonald’s finishes, they’ll move onto this one. So likely still a year or so out from groundbreaking. Probably not super rushed as the LRT is still a few years from opening and this is very much TOD.

The project will see the construction of a 42 unit apartment building that will span four floors, located at 15521 - 93A Avenue, Edmonton, near the Valley Line West LRT leg. A building permit was issued by the City of Edmonton on April 25, 2025.
