Now just imagine those empty parking lots were filled with 20-30 storey towers with a shorter 13 storey "Hat" building (albeit a narrow one) on 103 street on the lot that's for sale.

This is just a very rough mock-up what I would like to see here. The exact shape and size of the towers can be changed. However, we do need more skinny towers. They should'nt all be monoliths like the Falcon.

Ok but those would be far skinnier than basically anything built in this province at that height. They look about 1/3rd the floorplate of the Chateau Lacombe! And if the footprints are larger, that many towers would be hard to fit in.

Many many years ago… I came out of Y afterhours at 7 or 8 in the morning and found residue of a white substance spread over the dashboard of my jeep which I had left in this parking lot with the roof off. I’m sure it was just icing sugar…

Just out of curiosity, Wikipedia and the Falcon website say that this building should be 146m but based on these images it seems like its quite shorter. Did the developer decide to reduce the height of the building?
