The Mechanized River Valley Access (MRVA) Project is part of a multi-million dollar infrastructure project funded by the Federal Government's Building Canada Fund. The MRVA will transform a portion of downtown Edmonton with the addition of a fully-accessible pedestrian pathway from the base of the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald to the edge of the North Saskatchewan River. The project will cost approximately $24 million, and will be completed by late 2017.
