The fringe community of Ambleside in southwest Edmonton is being introduced to highrise residential living in the form of a 16-storey building by multi-family developer Westrich Pacific. The rectilinear tower is a direct follow-up to a pair of neighbouring condominiums of 12 and eight storeys.

Collectively known as Signature Condominiums, the first two instalments were connected by a three-storey glass lobby. The next chapter in the project is physically separated from the inaugural residential blocks — hugging the corner of Windermere Boulevard and Ambleside Drive SW — but shares the same punched window and acrylic stucco aesthetic as its predecessors.

Floor plans between 821 and 1,177 square feet in size each come with sizeable balconies that protrude from the walls of the 123-unit building, giving residents views in three directions. A recent image posted to our Forum shows how the floor plates of the under-construction building are coming together, surpassing the height of the first two buildings in the complex.
